Welcome! Neal Perry operates the Perry Farm where his family has been farming since 1924. Neal offers a wide range of horse related services that stem from his love for people and horses. Neal effectively teaches how to have a safe, reliable relationship with your horse. His approach is practical at any level of horsemanship and his philosophy supports a framework that is adapted to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Neal is driven by his faith in God to help people using his talents and skills. His primary concern is always to provide his clients with the necessary tools, ideas and methods to develop a safe and productive relationship with their horse. Neal uses his own horses for pleasure riding & driving, farm work and logging. His love for horses goes back to his childhood spending summer days riding ponies across the farm and winter days in the woods with the families' draft horses. Rebekah Bailey comes to the Perry Farm with a lifelong love of horse training, physiology and psychology that is rooted in her childhood on the families' horse-powered farm in Brattleboro. She is a 1993 graduate of Meredith Manor Equestrian Center in West Virginia where she studied horse training. Bekah worked with her parents, Jay & Janet Bailey, working the farm & training horses from 1998 - 2009.
“"The application and release of physical, mental and emotional pressures is the underpinning of my horse-training philosophy. One of my favorite training sayings is: 'The faster their feet go, the slower their brain works,' "“ Neal & Bekah enjoy the company of experienced farm and horse people who help with training, chores, haying and other farm tasks. Dean, Spencer, Mayah, Evan, May/Mom, Reuben, Beth, Chelsea, Bill, Kyle and the rest – we couldn't do this without you! |
